About The Position

Housekeeper – Arbors/Ivy Assisted Living The Arbors at Westfield Conveniently located near Downtown Westfield. Part-Time 24 hour position Thursday , Friday. Mandatory every other weekend Are you the kind of person who cleans the corners, not just the middle of the room? Do you take pride in making things shine and knowing the job was done right? We’re looking for a housekeeper who pays attention to the details, follows established guidelines, and takes pride in their work every single day. Someone pleasant and respectful with residents—but focused enough to stay efficient and get the job done right. At Arbors/Ivy, housekeeping is more than cleaning. It’s about creating a safe, comfortable, and welcoming home for our residents.

Requirements

• Housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Strong attention to detail—someone who doesn’t skip the corners
• Pride in a job well done, every day
• Ability to follow procedures and cleaning standards
• Pleasant, respectful, and professional with residents
• Efficient, dependable, and team-oriented
• Someone who truly enjoys cleaning and keeping things organized

Responsibilities

• Clean resident apartments according to established schedules and checklists
• Dust, vacuum, mop, and disinfect surfaces and bathrooms
• Change bed linens and maintain tidy living spaces
• Keep common areas clean, safe, and welcoming
• Follow all health, safety, and cleaning guidelines
• Use products properly according to instructions
• Speak kindly with residents while working in their rooms
• Take pride in making every space look its best
