About The Position

We are a 124-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility located in Greenville, SC. Our Administrator is dedicated to creating a culture where employees feel valued, supported, and appreciated. We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents, visitors, and staff. This role plays a critical part in supporting resident well-being, infection prevention, and overall facility cleanliness.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous housekeeping experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting is a plus

Responsibilities

Clean and maintain public and common areas, including lobbies, restrooms, drinking fountains, and floors
Ensure resident rooms and bathrooms are cleaned and sanitized regularly
Wipe down handrails to keep them free of dust and debris
Remove dirt, dust, and food from walls, mirrors, windows, light fixtures, towel bars, and dispensers
Empty trash cans and replace liners as needed
Sweep and mop floors throughout the facility
Follow safety protocols, including the use of caution signage and proper chemical storage
Operate cleaning equipment and use supplies according to manufacturer instructions
Keep housekeeping carts, equipment, and storage areas clean, organized, and sanitary
Report resident safety concerns immediately to the Director of Housekeeping, Administrator, or Director of Nursing
Notify the Director of Housekeeping when supplies need replenishment
Demonstrate excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude
Manage time effectively and complete tasks efficiently
Work independently and as part of a team to meet facility standards

Schedule includes working two weekends and having one weekend off
Shift hours: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
