About The Position

The Housekeeper cleans hotel guest rooms and public areas at the Sparks Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton. The role includes cleaning rooms to brand and company standards, replenishing supplies, handling linens, transporting waste, and performing deep-cleaning tasks as directed by a supervisor. The listed wage is $15.00–$16.00 per hour, based on experience (BOE).

Requirements

• Preferably 6 months to 1+ year of similar experience.
• Ability to clean rooms in accordance with specific brand and company minutes-per-room standards.
• Ability to clean areas as directed by a supervisor.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• High school degree or better.

Responsibilities

• Sort, fold, mark, carry, and otherwise handle linens.
• Clean rooms according to specific brand and company minutes-per-room standards.
• Clean guest rooms, bathrooms, and kitchen areas when applicable, including making beds, emptying wastebaskets and cleaning ashtrays, moving furniture, handling drapes, cleaning floors, and dusting furniture.
• Replenish supplies such as drinking glasses, writing supplies, bathroom supplies, and linens.
• Deep-clean areas as directed by a supervisor, including rugs, upholstered furniture, draperies, walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills.
• Transport trash and waste to the disposal area.
• Replace light bulbs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
