About The Position

Brooksville Health Care Center is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. In this role, you’ll help create a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents, families, and staff. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, values teamwork, and enjoys contributing to a positive resident experience.

Requirements

• Previous housekeeping or environmental services experience (healthcare or senior living preferred)
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety practices
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 40 lbs
• Positive attitude, reliability, and strong work ethic

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and offices
• Perform sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing
• Remove trash and replace liners daily
• Assist with laundry services as needed
• Follow all infection control, safety, and sanitation guidelines
• Report maintenance or safety concerns promptly
• Provide courteous and respectful service to residents and visitors
