Requirements
- Experience in housekeeping or willingness and aptitude to learn the role.
- Attention to details.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Capable of performing role in a busy work environment
- Capable of working scheduled hours, including weekdays, weekends, nights and holidays
- Proficient in reading safety procedures and operating guidelines / instructions in English
Responsibilities
- Enter guest accommodations following procedures for gaining access and ensuring vacancy before entering.
- Make beds, dust, vacuum, clean bathrooms, empty trash, refresh towels, straighten furniture / fixtures and replenish / organize amenities.
- Inspect accommodations and report any defects or malfunctioning items, i.e., television, light bulbs.
- Greet guests, answer questions, and provide amenities upon request.
- Maintain guest confidentiality.
- Maintain cleanliness and appearance of supply cart.
- Keep storage areas and carts well-stocked, clean, and tidy.
- Report any suspicious activity to your manager.
- Secure lost items and hand them in to your manager daily.
- Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
