Requirements

  • Experience in housekeeping or willingness and aptitude to learn the role.
  • Attention to details.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Capable of performing role in a busy work environment
  • Capable of working scheduled hours, including weekdays, weekends, nights and holidays
  • Proficient in reading safety procedures and operating guidelines / instructions in English

Responsibilities

  • Enter guest accommodations following procedures for gaining access and ensuring vacancy before entering.
  • Make beds, dust, vacuum, clean bathrooms, empty trash, refresh towels, straighten furniture / fixtures and replenish / organize amenities.
  • Inspect accommodations and report any defects or malfunctioning items, i.e., television, light bulbs.
  • Greet guests, answer questions, and provide amenities upon request.
  • Maintain guest confidentiality.
  • Maintain cleanliness and appearance of supply cart.
  • Keep storage areas and carts well-stocked, clean, and tidy.
  • Report any suspicious activity to your manager.
  • Secure lost items and hand them in to your manager daily.
  • Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
