About The Position
Friendship Village is seeking a compassionate and energetic individual to join our Environmental Services team as a Housekeeper. This role is responsible for the cleanliness of Friendship Village – Kalamazoo, including but not limited to Village Apartments, Woodside, Health Center, Laundry, Garden Homes, and all areas associated with Friendship Village – Kalamazoo, always following departmental guidelines and procedures. This is a full-time, first shift (7a-3p) position with a starting pay of $15.00 per hour.
Requirements
- A compassionate team player that has initiative and integrity.
- Ability to clean Residents rooms and all areas of FVK with minimal disturbance to inhabitant of same.
Nice To Haves
- Previous Housekeeping/Laundry preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Completes Work Orders assigned by Director or by Residents.
- Maintains all equipment and supplies in proper condition.
- Supplies are put away in appropriate areas.
