About The Position

The Housekeeper cleans hotel rooms and public areas at Roseville TownePlace Suites by Marriott. The role includes preparing guest rooms to company and franchise standards, replenishing guest supplies, handling linens, and completing deep-cleaning tasks as directed by a supervisor. The position requires the ability to stand for long periods and to clean rooms within the brand and company’s established minutes-per-room standard.

Requirements

• Ability to clean areas as directed by a supervisor.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• High school degree or better.

Nice To Haves

• Preferably 6 months to 1+ year of similar experience.

Responsibilities

• Sort, collect, fold, mark, or carry linens.
• Clean rooms according to specific brand and company minutes-per-room standards.
• Clean guest rooms, including bathrooms and kitchens when applicable, following company and franchise standards. Tasks include making beds; emptying wastebaskets and cleaning ashtrays; moving furniture; handling drapes; sweeping, scrubbing, waxing, and polishing floors; and dusting furniture.
• Replenish supplies such as drinking glasses, writing materials, bathroom supplies, and linens.
• Deep clean areas as directed by a supervisor, including rugs, upholstered furniture, draperies, walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills.
• Transport trash and waste to the disposal area.
• Replace light bulbs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
