Housekeeper
About The Position
Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the campus and ensuring that visitors, residents, families, and staff have a positive impression. Additional duties include cleaning of common areas, project cleaning and seasonal cleaning duties as assigned. Weekly cleaning & laundry in resident’s rooms. Provide consistent & quality work to the residents and staff. Maintain a clean and orderly work area and cleaning cart. Follow job routines and instructions according to the assigned housekeeping schedule. Assure resident apartment and laundry are clean and sanitized as scheduled. Maintain inventory for daily needs & notify supervisor of supply issues. Assist in keeping all common areas neat, clean and safe. Follow the daily schedule to ensure all tasks are accomplished in a timely manner.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year housekeeping/cleaning experience
- Able to make responsible choices and decisions, and act in the resident’s best interest.
- Ability to motivate oneself and work independently
- Ability to be flexible and to work with other staff and residents
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals
- Good work ethic
- Maintains confidentiality
- Able to read, write, spell, do basic math, speak and understand English.

- Vacuuming hallways, elevators and furniture
- Washing inside glass doors and windows
- Sweeping and/or mopping floors
- Cleaning and stocking supplies in restroom
- Dusting
- Rubbish/trash removal
- Washing / polishing woodwork and baseboards
- Seasonal duties as assigned
