About The Position

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is hiring a Housekeeper to help maintain a clean and safe environment in a long-term care facility. The role supports the communities HCSG serves by enhancing customer and resident experiences. The starting pay rate is USD $13.00 per hour.

The Housekeeper performs daily cleaning and sanitation tasks in resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and offices; follows established procedures, safety guidelines, and infection-control practices; and keeps records of cleaning activities. The position also involves reporting maintenance or safety issues, communicating and interacting positively with residents, staff, and guests, and completing other assigned duties.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a positive attitude, effective communication, and the ability to follow oral and written instructions. Prior housekeeping experience is preferred but not required. The employee must comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies, live within the service area, and be able to perform repetitive tasks, work around cleaning products, and meet the stated physical demands.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership.
• Comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Live within the service area.
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push or pull up to 50 pounds.
• Able to stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
• Able to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously and daily.
• Able to work around cleaning products.
• Able to follow oral and written instructions.

Nice To Haves

• Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily housekeeping tasks, including cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and offices.
• Clean and sanitize areas according to established procedures and safety guidelines.
• Maintain records of cleaning activities and report maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
• Follow infection-control and universal-precautions policies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests and provide excellent customer service.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
