About The Position

South Port Square is seeking a hospitality-driven professional to join their growing team as a Housekeeper. This is a temporary position lasting up to six months, with the possibility of extension. The Housekeeper will be responsible for the cleanliness and neatness of resident private apartment homes, common areas throughout the community, and the healthcare center, as applicable. The role involves performing general housekeeping duties such as vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms and kitchens, dusting, and maintaining equipment and supplies. The goal is to maintain an attractive, clean, and comfortable environment to meet the needs of residents.

Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
Background screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse required.

Nice To Haves

Three to six months’ experience in housekeeping or janitorial position preferred.

Responsibilities

Performs general housekeeping duties in apartments, such as: vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms and kitchens, and dusting of all cleared flat surfaces.
Performs general housekeeping duties of hallways and common areas as directed by supervisor.
Maintains all equipment and supplies in proper condition.
Responsible for performing a variety of housekeeping and laundry functions to maintain an attractive, clean, and comfortable environment to meet the needs of residents.
