About The Position

Housekeeping is suited to someone who enjoys cleaning, staying active throughout the day, making customers happy through their work, and working in a hospitality environment. The Housekeeper provides guests with a positive hospitality experience by cleaning and maintaining guest rooms, responding to guest requests, and supporting positive working relationships with other hotel departments. This is a full-time position with a flexible schedule that includes days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

Ability to walk and stand throughout the entire work shift.
Ability to push a vacuum and to reach, stretch, and bend during routine daily work activities.
Ability to lift 25–35 pounds intermittently during the workday.
Ability to work a flexible schedule that includes days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

Previous housekeeping experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

Clean assigned guest rooms, including making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, and vacuuming.
Change and replenish bed linens, towels, and guest amenities as needed.
Perform deep-cleaning tasks as needed.
Stock, maintain, and transport the housekeeping supply cart daily.
Dispose of trash and recyclables.
Respond to special guest requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.
Perform guest turndown service as needed.
Maintain and promote positive, cooperative working relationships with all hotel departments.
Perform other duties as requested by a supervisor or manager.
