About The Position

This role is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of the facility. The Housekeeper will perform a variety of cleaning tasks to ensure a safe and sanitary environment for residents and staff. This includes dusting, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms, spot cleaning, trash removal, window washing, and stocking supplies. The position also involves reporting equipment needs and performing other duties as assigned, potentially filling in for other areas as needed.

Requirements

• High School graduate or GED equivalent.
• Functional literacy in English is required.
• Possess basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Dust, mop, and vacuum floors.
• Dust furniture, woodwork, lights, and pictures.
• Clean bathrooms.
• Spot clean walls and carpets.
• Collect and dispose of trash.
• Wash windows.
• Wash and rehang curtains.
• Defrost refrigerators.
• Turn mattresses.
• Stock closets with needed supplies.
• Report needed repairs on equipment.
• Completes all duties according to standard policies and procedures.
• Demonstrates competency in skills mandated by required education and training.
• Fill-in in all areas as scheduled by Housekeeping/Laundry Director.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
