Housekeeper
About The Position
This position is responsible for ensuring residents have a clean, safe, comfortable, and attractive living environment. Consistent attendance is an essential function of this role, as it directly impacts the employee's ability to perform duties effectively and ensures proper workflow and communication within the team. The Housekeeper will perform thorough cleaning of apartments before new residents move in, including all rooms, as well as common areas such as laundry rooms, offices, maintenance shops, clubhouses, and hallways. Responsibilities also include stripping and waxing hallways, cleaning up trash in common areas, vacuuming carpets, and cleaning windows, doors, and furnishings.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED.
- Prior housekeeping experience.
- Familiarity with the use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Ability to read the English language.
Responsibilities
- Abides by Fair Housing Laws.
- Thoroughly cleaning apartments prior to new residents moving in, including living rooms, dining rooms, bedrooms, bathrooms, and kitchens.
- Stripping and waxing hallways.
- Cleaning laundry rooms, offices, maintenance shops, clubhouse, and all common areas.
- Cleans up trash in common areas.
- Vacuum carpets.
- Clean windows, doors, and furnishings.
