About The Position

For 130 years, Episcopal Homes of Minnesota has proudly served seniors in St. Paul’s Midway neighborhood. Our vibrant campus offers Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care, Skilled Nursing, and Hospice, creating a true community atmosphere. Residents and staff enjoy access to amenities including a fitness center, warm-water therapy pool, pub, movie theater, and gourmet dining. We're looking for a caring, dependable Housekeeper to join our team at Episcopal Homes, where we work together to create a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents. As a Housekeeper, you'll help make our nursing home feel like home-keeping everything tidy, sanitized, and comfortable for the people who live and work here.

Requirements

• A positive attitude and a heart for helping others
• Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience is helpful, especially in healthcare settings-but we're happy to train the right person
• Ability to follow instructions and work both independently and with a team
• Good attention to detail and a sense of pride in your work
• Comfortable being on your feet, bending, and lifting during your shift
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including some weekends and holidays
• High school degree or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of cleaning techniques and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Keep resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and common areas clean and inviting
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize surfaces throughout the facility
• Take out trash and recycling and restock supplies like toilet paper and soap
• Follow cleaning checklists and daily schedules to stay on track
• Use cleaning products safely and follow our health and safety guidelines
• Help prevent the spread of illness by sticking to infection control procedures
• Report any maintenance or safety concerns you notice during your shift
• Treat residents with kindness and respect while working in their spaces
• Work closely with a friendly team and support one another each day
