About The Position

The Housekeeper performs routine cleaning tasks to maintain a pristine and welcoming community environment for residents. The role helps ensure a safe living environment while respecting residents’ privacy, dignity, and personal belongings. The Housekeeper responds promptly to resident and staff requests and supports additional apartment turnover or specialized cleaning tasks as assigned.

Requirements

Must be age 18 or older.
Promote teamwork in providing services to residents.
Demonstrate attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
Ability to work independently and complete tasks on time.
Ability to lift arms above the head to reach and clean shelves, ledges, and windows.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with general cleaning procedures.
Willingness to learn and help others.
Enjoyment in working with older adults.
High school graduate or GED.

Responsibilities

Clean resident apartments, restrooms, and community common areas according to the established schedule.
Dust, vacuum, mop, and disinfect surfaces and floors.
Empty trash containers on a regular schedule and as needed.
Clean interior windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors.
Keep equipment and storage areas clean and organized.
Follow chemical safety protocols and infection control procedures.
Help maintain a safe living environment while respecting residents’ privacy, dignity, and personal belongings.
Report concerns or observations about unusual resident behavior to a supervisor.
Report needed supplies and equipment repairs to a supervisor.
Assist with apartment flips or specialized cleaning tasks as assigned.
Respond promptly and efficiently to requests from residents and staff.
Report on-the-job injuries to a supervisor before the end of the work shift on the day the injury occurs.
Maintain confidentiality of verbal and written information regarding residents, community operations, and personnel.
Perform other duties as assigned.
