About The Position

A Housekeeper is responsible for performing a variety of environmental service activities, as assigned, to keep the building operating as cleanly, efficiently, and effectively as possible. Duties include, but are not limited to, housekeeping/facility cleaning activities and laundry/linen duties in order to provide a sanitary and aseptic environment for patients, visitors, and hospital staff.

Requirements

  • Previous clinical Housekeeping experience Preferred
  • High School Diploma Preferred

Responsibilities

  • Creates a sanitary, safe environment and enhances the appearance of the facility
  • Cleans patient rooms and other assigned areas daily, including collecting and removing trash, changing bed linens and sanitizing all surfaces.
  • Stocks paper items and other supplies in patient rooms as necessary or designated.
  • Maintains cart and equipment in clean, working condition and stores in appropriate storage area when finished with shift.
  • Regular and reliable attendance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
