About The Position

Drury Hotels is hiring full-time and part-time Housekeepers at Drury Inn & Suites in Fairview Heights, Illinois. Housekeepers help create a clean, positive environment and memorable experiences for hotel guests by maintaining guest rooms to established standards and providing friendly, courteous service. Duties may include vacuuming, changing linens, cleaning bathrooms, inspecting rooms for maintenance needs, and providing guests with linens, towels, amenities, or requested information. Team members may also be asked to assist with laundry or clean public areas as needed. The position requires working independently, following verbal and written instructions, and contributing to a positive and cooperative workplace. The hotel operates seven days a week, and working Saturdays and Sundays may be required.

The posted pay range is $16.36–$24.03 per hour. Starting pay may exceed the minimum based on relevant experience, skills, and education. The role is eligible for a discretionary quarterly +1 Service bonus, with the posting citing an opportunity of up to $3,200 annually based on hotel results. No previous cleaning experience is required. The stated education requirement is knowledge, skills, and mental ability equivalent to completing two years of high school.

Requirements

• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures and cleaning supplies.

• Ability to walk and stand throughout the work shift.
• Ability to push, vacuum, reach, stretch, and bend during daily work.
• Ability to intermittently lift 25–35 pounds during the workday.
• Working Saturdays and Sundays may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform hotel housekeeping services to maintain guest rooms according to established standards.
• Vacuum, change linens, and clean bathrooms and other guest-room areas.
• Visually inspect rooms to help identify maintenance needs.
• Provide guests with linens, towels, amenities, or information when requested.
• Assist with laundry or cleaning public areas when needed.
• Respond promptly and efficiently to guest requests, questions, and complaints with friendly, courteous Service +1 service.
• Help maintain a clean, positive work environment for team members and guests.
• Maintain positive, cooperative working relationships with all hotel departments.
