About The Position
Brushy Creek Post Acute is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Housekeeper for its 144-bed skilled nursing facility in Greer, South Carolina. This PRN role helps maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents, visitors, and staff. The facility features cottage-style homes, gardens, and outdoor patios, and describes its work environment as supportive and team-focused. The schedule is every other weekend, with the possibility of picking up other days when needed. The listed pay is $12–$14 per hour. The role requires following safety procedures and cleaning guidelines, using housekeeping equipment and supplies appropriately, and working independently and with a team. High school diploma or equivalent and previous housekeeping experience are preferred; healthcare or long-term care experience is a plus.

Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and common areas.
- Clean public spaces, including lobbies, restrooms, drinking fountains, and floors.
- Dust and sanitize handrails and other high-touch surfaces.
- Clean walls, mirrors, windows, light fixtures, towel bars, and dispensers.
- Empty trash containers and replace liners as needed.
- Sweep and mop floors throughout the facility.
- Follow safety procedures, including proper use of caution signs and chemical storage.
- Operate housekeeping equipment and cleaning supplies according to manufacturer guidelines.
- Keep housekeeping carts, supply areas, and equipment clean and organized.
- Promptly report resident safety concerns to facility leadership.
- Notify the Director of Housekeeping when supplies need replenishing.
- Demonstrate customer service and professionalism.
- Manage time effectively and complete assignments efficiently.
- Work independently and as part of a team to meet facility cleanliness standards.
