About The Position

The Housekeeper is responsible for cleaning sinks, showers, toilets, and other fixtures. They will also stock bathrooms with soap and paper products, clean and dust surfaces including glass and mirrors, and vacuum carpet and sweep and mop floors. This role involves deep cleaning resident's rooms and care areas, ensuring infection control, and creating and upholding an atmosphere of warmth, patience, enthusiasm, and a calm and cheerful environment.

Requirements

• Must possess a minimum of a 10th grade education.
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
• Must have experience interacting with residents of this nature.
• Maintain confidentiality of all resident care information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines, and uphold procedures to ensure all staff are trained and in compliance with this policy.
• Must have an active CPR/BLS certification
