About The Position

The Housekeeper performs commercial cleaning at the FedEx Michigan MKGA location in Muskegon, Michigan. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., at $17 per hour. The company provides on-the-job training for candidates with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn. Duties include emptying trash; dusting furniture and exposed surfaces; cleaning glass and mirrors; cleaning and sanitizing restrooms; vacuuming and mopping floors; and completing weekly detailed cleaning. Employees use ServiceMaster TBS Division cleaning schedules, products, tools, and procedures, and use personal protective equipment where required.

Requirements

Arrive at the work location at the scheduled time and work within the allotted hours.
Complete special requests made by the client and communicate them in the company log.
Comply with all company policies and procedures.
Show respect and understanding toward co-workers and customers.
Contribute to a positive work climate with a pleasant attitude.
Wear the proper uniform at all times.
Be able to differentiate between cleaning products and their uses.
Be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
Be able to perform constant standing, walking, pushing, stooping, kneeling, and crouching.

Responsibilities

Follow ServiceMaster TBS Division commercial cleaning task schedules.
Empty trash.
Dust furniture, including desks, chairs, and tables.
Dust exposed surfaces, including window sills, ledges, and moldings.
Clean glass and mirrors.
Clean and sanitize restrooms using ServiceMaster products, tools, and procedures.
Vacuum and mop floors.
Perform weekly detailed cleaning.
Use personal protective equipment where required.
Complete special requests from the client and record them in the company log.
Wear the proper uniform and comply with company policies and procedures.
