About The Position
Summit Oaks Hospital, a 126-bed private acute care hospital and chemical dependency treatment center, is seeking a dependable and flexible person for its Housekeeping Department. The role involves performing housekeeping routines such as cleaning patient rooms, offices, and public areas. The position requires ensuring a safe and risk-preventive environment in compliance with OSHA, NJ State Department of Health, and Joint Commission regulations. This is a per diem position.
Requirements
- Some High school required
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision
- May be required to work weekends, occasional overtime and flexible hours
Nice To Haves
- A minimum of two (2) years experience performing housekeeping duties in a health care facility is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Cleaning of patient rooms, offices, and public areas
- Ensuring a safe and risk preventive environment within OSHA, NJ State Department of Health and Joint Commission regulations
