About The Position

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is hiring a part-time Housekeeper for morning shifts at a long-term care facility. The Housekeeper helps maintain a clean and safe environment for residents, staff, and guests by completing daily cleaning and sanitation tasks, following established procedures and safety guidelines, and applying infection-control and universal-precaution policies. The role also includes documenting cleaning activities, reporting maintenance or safety issues, and providing positive customer service. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership.
• Comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push or pull up to 50 pounds.
• Stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
• Perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously and daily.
• Work around cleaning products.
• Follow oral and written instructions.
• Reside within the service area.

Nice To Haves

• Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Clean resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and offices as part of daily housekeeping tasks.
• Clean and sanitize areas according to established procedures and safety guidelines.
• Maintain records of cleaning activities and report maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
• Follow infection-control and universal-precautions policies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests and provide excellent customer service.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
