About The Position

Maintains the company premises in a clean and orderly condition.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English. Able to relate well with others.
• Some experience in general housekeeping preferred.
• Able to push 30 – 60 lbs. power cleaning appliance, and able to lift up to 30 lbs. of trash and supplies.

Responsibilities

• Maintains sanitary and infection control procedures on the premises.
• Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, and other outside areas of the premises.
• Sweeps, scrubs, waxes and polishes floors, using brooms, mops and power cleaning appliances.
• Vacuums rugs, carpets, and upholstered furniture.
• Dust furniture, equipment and other items in offices and other work areas.
• Washes walls, woodwork, and windows as necessary.
• Empties trash and transports trash and waste to disposal area.
• Replenishes bathroom supplies as needed from storage inventory.
• Responsible for safe and proper handling of all cleaning machinery and supplies.
• Maintains all cleaning equipment and supplies required to perform work task.
• Performs other work related duties as assigned.
