About The Position

The Housekeeper maintains a clean, safe, sanitary, and professional environment. The position performs routine and periodic cleaning of offices, common areas, restrooms, meeting spaces, breakrooms, and other designated areas. The employee follows established cleaning procedures, operates standard cleaning equipment, maintains adequate supplies, and promptly reports maintenance, safety, or facility concerns.

• Education and/or experience in housekeeping work that is directly related to the job.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine cleaning of assigned office areas, including workspaces, hallways, lobbies, conference rooms, common areas, and other designated spaces.
• Empties waste and recycling containers and replaces liners as needed.
• Replenishes, cleans, and sanitizes restrooms.
• Follows established safety, security, infection-control, and workplace procedures while performing assigned duties.
• Secures work areas and follows building access and security procedures when working in occupied or unoccupied areas.
• Performs periodic or special cleaning assignments, such as detailed floor cleaning, high-traffic area cleaning, interior glass cleaning, furniture cleaning, and preparation or cleanup associated with meetings, conferences, special events, or changes in facility use.
• Performs other related housekeeping duties as assigned.
