Housekeeper (Full Time)
About The Position
Crothall Healthcare is hiring a full-time Housekeeper at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Roanoke, Virginia. The role performs light cleaning duties to maintain a clean and orderly healthcare establishment. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with hours that may vary; weekend availability is required. The pay range is $15.50 to $16.18 per hour. Prior housecleaning experience is preferred, and training is available. The Housekeeper provides detailed customer service and completes cleaning tasks such as maintaining floors, carpets, furniture, fixtures, wash basins, mirrors, tubs, showers, and glass surfaces. The role also involves handling trash, changing linens, making beds, arranging furniture and amenities, responding to guest requests and housekeeping issues, and contributing professionally to team efforts. Other duties may be assigned. Crothall Healthcare provides specialized support services to the healthcare industry. Responsibilities
- Provide quality customer service with one-on-one attention to detail.
- Sweep, scrub, mop, and polish floors.
- Vacuum carpets, rugs, and draperies.
- Shampoo carpets, rugs, and upholstery.
- Dust and polish furniture and fittings.
- Clean metal fixtures and fittings.
- Empty and clean trash containers and dispose of trash in a sanitary manner.
- Clean wash basins, mirrors, tubs, and showers.
- Wipe down glass surfaces.
- Make beds and change linens as required.
- Realign furniture and amenities according to the prescribed layout.
- Respond to guest queries and requests.
- Respond to housekeeping problems, such as spills and broken glasses.
- Contribute to team efforts and act professionally with customers, fellow associates, and others.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
