About The Position

This position involves responding promptly to guest and inter-departmental requests, preparing and transporting housekeeping carts, entering guest rooms following established procedures, and maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of guest rooms and common areas. Responsibilities include replacing linens and amenities, making beds, cleaning bathrooms, removing trash, and ensuring all in-room appliances are present and functional. The role also requires dusting, polishing, and removing marks from surfaces, as well as vacuuming and performing floor care. Adherence to company and safety policies, reporting maintenance issues, and completing safety training are essential. The position demands a professional appearance and demeanor, maintaining confidentiality, and providing excellent guest service, including assisting individuals with disabilities. Teamwork and supporting common goals are also key aspects of this role.

Requirements

• Ability to move, lift, carry, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance and in excess of 25 pounds with assistance.
• Ability to push and pull a loaded housekeeping cart and other work-related equipment over sloping and uneven surfaces.
• Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Ability to stand, sit, kneel, or walk for an extended period across an entire work shift.
• Ability to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
• Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures.
• Report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries.
• Complete safety training and certifications.
• Properly store flammable materials.

Responsibilities
