At MAC, our housekeeping team is essential to maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and presentation that our members expect and deserve. Beyond the physical upkeep of our facility, our Housekeepers contribute to a welcoming and supportive community atmosphere for both staff and members. This is a full-time, fully on-site position at our club in Portland, OR. Must have availability 7:00am – 3:30pm Monday-Saturday and 6:00am – 2:30pm on Sundays.

Requirements

  • Basic janitorial skills and familiarity with cleaning supplies, chemicals, and equipment are preferred.
  • Must be punctual and dependable.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees and members.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lb.; frequently bend, squat, climb, twist, crawl; reach above shoulders and grasp or squeeze objects; stand and walk throughout the entire shift; work safely with chemicals.

Responsibilities

  • Clean and disinfect various surfaces including toilets, partitions, sinks, mirrors, and fixtures.
  • Check and restock essential supplies like soap, tissues, toilet paper, seat covers, paper towels, cologne, and combs.
  • Clean and dust offices, reading lounge, and other areas; polish furniture; empty trash and recycling containers.
  • Deliver fresh towels, collect used towels, and transport them to the laundry holding area.
  • Vacuum carpets and dust or damp mop floors.
  • Spot wash walls in sport court spaces to remove marks and scuffs.
  • Use cleaning fluids, chemicals, and agents safely with personal protective equipment.
  • Other duties as assigned.
