About The Position

Come join us at Lourdes Noreen-McKeen Residence! A Faith-Based, Nonprofit, Short-Term Rehabilitation and Skilled Geriatric Care facility sponsored by the Carmelite Sisters for the Aged and Infirm, we've served the community since 1960. We are a place of life, a place of caring, and more importantly, a true home for our residents. We are looking for a Housekeeper - Full-Time. The schedule for this position varied but mainly 7a-3p. Must be available to work Weekends and Holidays. $15 per hour.

Requirements

• High School Diploma.
• Ability to speak, read and write English.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in Long-Term Care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean rooms and areas including bathrooms and restrooms by scrubbing, dusting, mopping, and emptying trash.
• Clean windows/mirrors in resident rooms, recreational areas, bathrooms, and exit/entrance ways.
• Clean floors to include sweeping, dusting, damp/wet mopping, vacuuming.
• Maintain supplies in resident rooms and staff areas.
• Prepare rooms for admission of residents.
• Receive cross-training in laundry procedures and be assigned to laundry aide duties as necessary.
