About The Position

Join Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) as a Housekeeper in a long-term care facility. The role helps maintain a clean and safe environment and supports positive customer and resident experiences. The position is Monday through Friday. The starting pay rate is $16.00 per hour. Offered salary rates are determined based on applicant qualifications, experience, education, and the specific needs and requirements of the facility serviced. Residency within the service area is required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership.
• Comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push or pull up to 50 pounds.
• Be able to stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
• Be able to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously and daily.
• Be able to work around cleaning products.
• Be able to follow oral and written instructions.
• Residency within the service area is required.

Nice To Haves

• Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily housekeeping tasks, including cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and offices.
• Clean and sanitize areas according to established procedures and safety guidelines.
• Maintain records of cleaning activities and report maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions policies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests while providing customer service.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
