About The Position

The Housekeeper will maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment throughout the Wings Event Center facility. This role involves performing routine floor care, cleaning restrooms and locker rooms, maintaining spectator areas, and supporting the upkeep of exterior grounds. The position also includes prompt trash removal, carpet maintenance, and occasional handling of bodily fluid cleanup. Additionally, the Housekeeper will assist with facility supply inventory and ordering.

Requirements

• Open availability
• Excellent customer service skills
• Able to stand for long periods of time, up to 8 hours or more
• Able to stoop and bend
• Occasionally able to lift up to 40 pounds
• Able to safely work with potentially dangerous chemicals and equipment
• Able to comply with safety and health code standards

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment throughout the facility.
• Perform routine floor care, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and spot cleaning.
• Clean, sanitize, and restock all restrooms and locker rooms.
• Maintain the cleanliness of lobby, viewing, and spectator areas, including stands and bleachers.
• Clean walls, windows, glass surfaces, and other high-visibility areas.
• Support the upkeep of parking lots, walkways, and exterior grounds.
• Remove trash and recycling promptly and efficiently.
• Maintain carpeted areas through routine cleaning and spot treatment.
• Occasionally responsible for the safe cleanup and sanitization of blood or other bodily fluids in accordance with established procedures.
• Assist with facility supply inventory and ordering to ensure adequate stock levels.
