About The Position

Rose Senior Living – Farmington Hills is seeking a hospitality-focused Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our housekeeping and laundry team. This hands-on leadership position is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming community while setting clear expectations, supporting employees, and holding the team accountable for meeting community standards.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.
Ability to coach employees, address performance concerns, and provide clear direction.
Strong communication, organization, time-management, and follow-through skills.
An employment history & physical exam, tuberculin skin test or chest X-ray, drug screen, criminal background screening, employment references from previous employers, and verification with the OIG list of excluded individuals/entities to confirm your eligibility to work in health care is required.

Nice To Haves

One to three years of housekeeping, laundry, or janitorial experience preferred.
Previous supervisory or team-lead experience strongly preferred.
Senior living, healthcare, or hospitality experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead, train, coach, and support the housekeeping team.
Assign daily responsibilities and ensure adequate coverage.
Set clear performance expectations and consistently hold team members accountable.
Conduct routine inspections of resident apartments and common areas, addressing deficiencies promptly.
Perform housekeeping and laundry duties as operational needs require.
Address attendance, conduct, and performance concerns in partnership with the Director of Plant Operations and Human Resources.
Maintain inventory and communicate supply, maintenance, staffing, and resident concerns.
Model professionalism, reliability, hospitality, and attention to detail.
