Mental Health Program Housekeeper / Server- South Minneapolis
About The Position
You’ll be an important part of our housekeeping team while maintaining our cafeteria. Our customized living programs focus on providing support to individuals living with severe and persistent mental illness. We provide a lower level of care alternative to group homes and nursing homes, meeting the client's individual needs while promoting independence. The housekeeping services include a variety of light and heavy cleaning tasks focusing on the common areas, bathrooms and stairwells, as well as serving meals and keeping our cafeteria clean. The care you provide for our clients will not just serve their basic needs of housekeeping and personal hygiene reminders but also reinforce client dignity, self worth and confidence, encouraging them to live their best life. You will work independently or one on one with clients to ensure clean safe living spaces.
Requirements
- Ability to speak and write in English
- Ability to pass Department of Human Services background check
- Over the age of 18
- At least six months of work experience in any field
