About The Position

Allegro Parkland is seeking a Full-Time Housekeeper to join its housekeeping team in a senior living community in Parkland, FL. This role is suitable for candidates interested in housekeeping, environmental services, senior living, hospitality, hotel, or healthcare cleaning jobs. The ideal candidate takes pride in creating clean, welcoming spaces and enjoys brightening residents' days. Experience in senior living communities, hotels, healthcare facilities, apartment housekeeping, or commercial cleaning environments is beneficial, but motivated individuals with a strong work ethic and attention to detail are encouraged to apply. The Housekeeping team at Allegro Parkland contributes to creating a warm, elegant, and comfortable environment for residents. The primary responsibility of the Housekeeper is to clean vacant apartments for move-in, clean occupied apartments weekly or as scheduled, follow the cleaning schedule for common areas, and ensure the highest degree of cleanliness is always maintained throughout the community.

Requirements

  • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
  • Should be familiar with safe operation of cleaning equipment such as vacuums, spray bottles, and with the safe use of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
  • Must have a positive Criminal Background Screening.
  • The Community is a drug free workplace, associates are subject to adherence to the Company Drug Free Workplace policy.

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum one (1) year housekeeping experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Clean vacant apartments in preparation for move-in using Company Checklist.
  • Report any problem areas to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
  • Clean occupied apartments, respite and guest apartments as scheduled using Company Checklist.
  • Report any problem areas to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
  • Detail clean halls and other common areas as scheduled or when requested by the Housekeeping Supervisor.
  • Keep inventory of cleaning supplies to ensure an adequate supply.
  • Report items needed to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
  • Keep laundry rooms and housekeeping/linen rooms clean and organized.
  • Clean lint from dryer lint traps daily and clean area behind washer & dryer equipment weekly.
