About The Position

NHC HealthCare Milan is seeking dependable and hardworking Housekeeping and Laundry team members to join our team. These positions play an important role in maintaining a clean, comfortable, safe, and welcoming environment for our patients, residents, families, visitors, and partners. Whether supporting environmental cleanliness throughout the center or helping ensure linens and clothing are properly cleaned and available, our Housekeeping and Laundry team members make a meaningful difference every day.

Nice To Haves

Previous housekeeping, laundry, hospitality, or health care experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Clean and sanitize patient and resident rooms, common areas, offices, restrooms, and other assigned areas throughout the center.
Dust, sweep, mop, vacuum, empty trash, and complete other routine housekeeping duties.
Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and clothing.
Maintain proper separation of clean and soiled laundry.
Operate housekeeping and laundry equipment safely and appropriately.
Restock supplies and help maintain clean and organized work areas.
Follow infection control, sanitation, safety, and NHC procedures.
Report maintenance, equipment, or safety concerns to the appropriate leader.
Work collaboratively with other team members to help maintain a clean, comfortable environment for those we serve.
