About The Position
NHC HealthCare West Plains is seeking a dependable, compassionate Housekeeper / Laundry Assistant to join their family-oriented team. This role involves maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for patients and staff, as well as managing laundry services.
Requirements
- A positive, can-do attitude and a desire to help others
- Compassion, empathy, and a strong work ethic
- Ability to read and understand Standard English
- Team player who is flexible and upbeat
- Able to be on your feet 7–8 hours a day and lift heavy objects
- Comfortable working with standard cleaning chemicals
Responsibilities
- Keep patient rooms, bathrooms, hallways, furniture, and equipment sparkling clean
- Empty garbage cans and maintain a tidy, welcoming environment
- Gather, wash, dry, fold, and store laundry with care
- Operate washers and dryers safely and efficiently
- Assist with other housekeeping and laundry tasks as needed
