Housekeeper / Laundry Aide (Per Diem)
About The Position
Centrally located in Torrance, California, Sunnyside Nursing and Post-Acute Care provides sub-acute nursing care, rehabilitation services, skilled nursing, and long-term care. We understand the importance of creating a comfortable and nurturing atmosphere, whether residents stay for short-term treatment or long-term care.
Requirements
- On-Call: 7 days a week
- AM or PM shift
Responsibilities
- Perform day-to-day housekeeping and/or laundry functions as assigned
- Cleaning resident rooms, recreational areas, etc., daily as instructed.
- Clean, wash, sanitize, and/or polish bathrooms
- Assist with Laundry - Washing, drying, pressing, and folding clothes
- Clean windows/mirrors in resident rooms, recreational areas, bathrooms, and entrance/exit ways.
- Clean floors, to include sweeping, dusting, damp/wet mopping, stripping, waxing, buffing, disinfecting, etc.
- Deodorizing, and disinfecting as per policy.
- Discard waste/trash into proper containers and reline trash receptacle with plastic liner.
