About The Position

Come work for St. Agnes Home as a Housekeeper/Laundry Aid with the wonderful Carmelite Sisters of the Divine Heart of Jesus located conveniently in Kirkwood at the corner of Woodlawn and Manchester Road! This is a full-time position (40 hours) where you will perform housekeeping and cleaning activities within well-established guidelines and assigned areas, while also performing laundry activities ensuring laundry is cleaned, folded, and delivered to residents. The goal is to make a clean and safe environment for residents. The role consistently demonstrates a positive approach to assignments and positive interaction with others, and complies with OSHA Standards and Regulations. We are looking for someone to work in a peaceful, loving, clean, family-oriented environment where we care for BOTH our Residents AND our Staff.

Requirements

Housekeeping experience preferred
Dedicated to the principle of providing improved quality of life to the residents
Able to safely prepare, use, and store -- under direction -- cleaning solutions
Good observation skills
Common sense judgment
Must successfully pass the Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS) criminal background check.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
Must be able to provide applicable documentation(s) for I-9 in order to establish identity and authorization to work in the US.
Must have valid driver’s license, personal automobile liability insurance, and acceptable driving record (if required to drive).
