About The Position

The Housekeeper is an entry-level opportunity on MultiCare’s Environmental Services team. The role helps ensure patients and families have the best possible experience when visiting a MultiCare facility by maintaining clean, orderly, and sanitary environments. The position is listed at 0.6 FTE, with a day shift and 8-hour shifts.

The position is at MultiCare Good Samaritan Hospital, a 388-bed acute-care hub serving Puyallup and East Pierce County. The hospital includes a Family Birth Center, Level III Trauma and Neonatal ICUs, a Level I Trauma Rehabilitation Center, a Children’s Therapy Unit, and a 24-hour Emergency Department.

The pay scale is $21.46–$32.64 USD. Pay may depend on factors including skills, experience, certifications, and education. For positions associated with a union contract, pay reflects the applicable step based on experience. Requirements

• Ability to read, write, and speak the English language.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning duties and maintain environmental surfaces in an orderly and sanitary condition.
• Organize and complete required department tasks in coordination with services provided by patient care personnel and other support service departments.
• Communicate effectively with the team and nursing staff.
• Partner with a service-oriented attitude and professional integrity.
