Requirements

High School Diploma or GED (required)
18 years of age or older (required)
Previous experience in floor care including stripping and finishing floors (required)
Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in a healthcare, senior living, hospitality, or commercial facility setting is preferred

Responsibilities

Perform advanced floor care, including stripping, waxing, buffing, burnishing, scrubbing, and refinishing hard floor surfaces
Deep clean and maintain carpets using commercial carpet extractors
Operate and maintain commercial floor care equipment, including automatic scrubbers, burnishers, buffers, and carpet extractors
Inspect flooring, identify maintenance needs, and address issues to maintain safety and appearance
Properly use cleaning chemicals, floor finishes, and sanitation products according to safety guidelines
Perform routine and deep cleaning, including dusting and disinfecting furniture, fixtures, equipment, hallways, common areas, and resident/public spaces
Clean, restock, and maintain cleaning supplies and materials across the facility
Follow infection control, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a clean and healthy environment
