About The Position
Provides daily cleaning services such as making beds; vacuuming; cleaning bathrooms, tub, and sink; dusting; emptying trash receptacles; and cleaning rooms to promote a clean, clutter-free, and odor-free environment. Operates floor equipment to strip, wax, and refurbish floors.
Requirements
- 1 year Experience in housekeeping
- Ability to understand and follow instructions.
- Ability to lead the housekeeping team.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Knowledge of methods of cleaning patient rooms and operation of laundry services.
- Knowledge of equipment such as vacuums, auto scrubbers, extractors, auto burnishers, and commercial washers and dryers.

Responsibilities
- Keeps all public restrooms clean and stocked with appropriate supplies for the convenience of residents, staff, and visitors.
- Cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies.
- Empties all wastebasket and trash receptacles and ashtrays to maintain an odor-free and sanitary environment.
- Handles and keeps all chemicals under lock and key when not in use for the safety of the residents.
- Performs restorative floor care such as stripping, refinishing, and top scrubbing and recoating of hard surface flooring.
- Collects, transports, and prepares infectious waste; sterilizes and documents activities.
- Washes walls, ceilings, doors, windows, blinds, vents, and lights.
