This role is responsible for completing all assigned housekeeping duties. The schedule requires the ability to work a 6 weeks on and 2 weeks off rotation or as per the manager’s discretion/ business needs. The primary responsibilities include maintaining a safety culture, washing, drying, and folding linens, inspecting linens for stains and damages, making beds, cleaning all aspects of rooms daily (including dusting, vacuuming, sweeping/mopping, cleaning washrooms, closets, windows, and mirrors), maintaining an accurate count of cleaned rooms, cleaning and sanitizing washrooms, replenishing guest room items, maintaining a clean and organized housekeeping cart with necessary PPE, ensuring proper chemical usage and storage, assisting in restocking and maintaining cleanliness of housekeeping areas and laundry, providing excellent customer service, and attending safety meetings. Additional duties may be assigned by a supervisor or manager.
