About The Position
Housekeepers / Room Attendants hold the key to creating a restful and relaxing stay for our guests. They have the essential role of making sure every room is clean and sanitized for guests to recharge after their adventures. This role involves general tidying, dusting, and vacuuming of guest rooms, replacing linens and making beds, cleaning/disinfecting washrooms, and attending to any housekeeping requests from guests. The role can involve working individually or as a pair. Responsibilities include the cleaning and sanitizing of rooms and common areas in hotels, lodges and cabins, including bathrooms, beds, desks, kitchenettes, floors and surfaces, ensuring thorough and timely cleaning. Assisting with cleaning the public areas, washrooms, and elevators may be required. Previous housekeeping experience is not required, and other duties may be assigned.
Requirements
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Capable of manual duties (bend, stoop, squat and stretch)
- Able to perform assigned duties with a high level of attention to detail, speed, consistency, follow through and under minimal supervision
- Strong team play, organization and communication skills
- Enjoy working with a team in a busy, fast-paced environment
- Guest service-oriented mindset and a passion for delivering memorable experiences
- Mature, energetic, dependable and self-motivated

Responsibilities
