About The Position
Housekeepers / Room Attendants hold the key to creating a restful and relaxing stay for our guests. They have the essential role of making sure every room is clean and sanitized for guests to recharge after their adventures. This role involves general tidying, dusting, and vacuuming of guest rooms, replacing linens and making beds, cleaning/disinfecting washrooms, and attending to any housekeeping requests from guests. The role may involve working individually or as a pair, cleaning and sanitizing of rooms and common areas in hotels, lodges and cabins, including bathrooms, beds, desks, kitchenettes, floors and surfaces. Assisting with cleaning the public areas, washrooms, and elevators may also be required.
Requirements
- Previous housekeeping experience not required
- Strong work ethic
- Good physical condition
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Able to work without supervision
- Determined to accomplish tasks on time with a high standard of quality
- Team player
- Organization and time management skills are a must
- Guest service-oriented mindset and a passion for delivering memorable experiences
- Mature, energetic, dependable and self-motivated
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and capable of manual duties (bend, stoop, squat and stretch), required
- Able to perform assigned duties with a high level of attention to detail, speed, consistency, follow through and under minimal supervision
- Strong team play, organization and communication skills
- Enjoy working with a team in a busy, fast-paced environment

Responsibilities
- General tidying, dusting, and vacuuming of guest rooms

- Cleaning/disinfecting washrooms

- Thorough and timely cleaning
- Assisting with cleaning the public areas, washrooms, and elevators, when required
- Other duties as assigned
