About The Position

Provides high levels of cleanliness, quality, and service to patients, families and customers. This position is specifically for 1st Shift and requires the ability to work the schedule of Sunday-Thursday 7a-3:30p, with rotating holidays required. The role involves cleaning and servicing patient care areas, offices, lobbies, bathrooms, and other assigned areas, adhering to the 10 Step Cleaning Process and appropriate chemical use. The Housekeeper will also coordinate with management to address facility maintenance and service issues, practice proper infection control methods, maintain knowledge of PPE and door precautions, and keep housekeeping supplies and equipment in good working order. Performance is measured by quality control inspections and customer feedback.

Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent, required.
• Ability to speak and understand English.
• Demonstrate high degree of proficiency in the 10 Step Cleaning Process.
• Effective communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Demonstrates ability to prioritize and multi-task.
• Displays positive customer service skills and promotes a team atmosphere.

Nice To Haves

• Previous housekeeping experience, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and services patient care areas, offices, lobbies, bathrooms or other areas as assigned.
• Demonstrates knowledge of 10 Step Cleaning Process and appropriate chemical use to meet department standards.
• Performs routine cleaning and coordinates with management to address and resolve facility maintenance, service issues and other concerns.
• Practices proper methods of Infection Control in conjunction with cleaning procedures.
• Maintains proper use and knowledge of PPE and door precautions.
• Maintains closet, housekeeping cart and cleaning equipment in clean, orderly and good working condition.
• Maintains department’s standards of practice as evidenced by quality control inspections and customer feedback.
