About The Position

As Housekeeper and/or Housekeeping Team Lead, you will play a vital role in ensuring that all resident rooms, common areas, and workspaces across the Lincoln Glen campus meet the highest standards of cleanliness and safety. This position combines hands-on housekeeping duties with teamwork, attention to detail, and, for team leads, the opportunity to guide and support other housekeeping staff. You'll contribute to creating a welcoming, comfortable environment for residents, staff, and visitors alike.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1 year of housekeeping experience in residential, healthcare, or hospitality environments (senior living experience preferred).
  • Leadership or team lead experience (for the team lead role).
  • Knowledge of proper cleaning, sanitation, and infection control standards.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, based on community needs.
  • Physical ability to stand, bend, lift, and push housekeeping equipment as required.
  • Strong commitment to teamwork, reliability, and delivering exceptional resident service.

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily housekeeping duties, including cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, lounges, dining rooms, and hallways.
  • Clean and prepare dining areas before and after meal service.
  • Change linens, make beds, and restock supplies in resident rooms.
  • Inspect assigned areas for cleanliness and safety; report any maintenance or repair needs.
  • Maintain cleaning equipment and supply inventories, ensuring safe and efficient use of chemicals and tools.
  • Support consistent sanitation and infection control practices throughout the community.
  • Work collaboratively with nursing, dining, and maintenance staff to ensure smooth facility operations.
  • Model teamwork, reliability, and positive communication among staff members.
  • Assist in training new housekeeping team members, monitor work quality, and help coordinate daily assignments.
