The Housekeeper/Floor Crew performs a wide range of cleaning duties, including general housekeeping and specialized floor care, with a focus on maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients, staff, and visitors. This role ensures adherence to departmental standards and regulatory requirements, manages supplies, and provides essential support to the housekeeping department.

Requirements

Ability to read and write and follow oral and written instruction and established procedures.
Must possess a positive attitude and display excellent customer interactions.
Must have exemplary personal hygiene and appearance.

Nice To Haves

Previous housekeeping experience in an institutional setting is preferred.
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

Performs a wide variety of cleaning tasks from housekeeping to floor care, including between case surgical cleaning.
Provides housekeeping support to patient care areas, surgical areas, physician areas, office and administrative suites.
Maintains a clean, safe environment for staff, customers, visitors, and patients.
Ensures comprehensive cleaning as prescribed by department and in accordance with regulatory practices and procedures.
Maintains stock and supplies.
Provides other support to the department as needed.
