About The Position

Join the Congregation of Holy Cross as a full-time Housekeeper - Floor Care Specialist in Notre Dame, IN! This role involves maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation standards of Province buildings, with a specific focus on floor care. Responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, stripping, waxing, buffing floors, and ensuring resident and guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas are immaculate. The position offers a Monday to Friday schedule from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, with flexible hours for floor care tasks, located at Moreau Seminary. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency
• Basic knowledge base of technology and standard office equipment, mainly computers

Nice To Haves

• 6+ months of relevant experience is preferred
• Previous housekeeping experience in a public setting or healthcare preferred
• Previous floor care experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Ensure every corner meets the highest sanitation standards.
• Sweep and mop hard surface floors.
• Strip, wax, and buff floors to their pristine condition.
• Fluff pillows and arrange fresh linens in resident and guest rooms.
• Ensure bathrooms and common areas sparkle with cleanliness.
• Balance efficiency with care in performing routine tasks.
