About The Position

A warm, casual, and welcoming family of four in Bethesda, MD, is seeking a seasoned, professional full-time housekeeper/family assistant/pet nanny. The family values a relaxed environment centered around their children and is seeking a candidate who can seamlessly manage the home with minimal direction. Mom is a stay-at-home parent who is very hands-on with the children. This is a full-charge, long-term role presented by Nannies and more…® International for a highly experienced candidate who takes pride in maintaining a large 4-story home and can confidently “own” their role. This is an all-in-one position—there is no additional household staff. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, energetic, and comfortable managing a busy household independently.

Requirements

Seasoned, professional housekeeper with 5 years of experience working in large, fine homes
Must be eligible to work in the US
Strong work ethic and willingness to be hands-on with cleaning (not suited for candidates who prefer supervisory-only roles)
High energy and stamina to manage a large 4-story property
Organized, self-directed, and able to set and manage their own workflow
Detail-oriented with excellent laundry and ironing skills
Comfortable around pets and experienced with dog care

Discreet, reliable, and proactive

Responsibilities

Full-charge cleaning of an 8-bedroom, 10-bathroom home (primarily high-use areas; some spaces rarely used)
Daily upkeep, deep cleaning, and organization
Monitoring and maintaining household cleanliness standards
Managing household supply inventory and restocking
Full family laundry, including washing, folding, and organizing
Expert ironing and garment care
Closet organization and seasonal rotation as needed
Care for a 2-year-old Bernedoodle
Daily walks, playtime, and companionship for the dog
Scheduling and managing grooming appointments and outings for the dog
Light meal prep (reheating and simple prep required on days when the chef is not present)
Kitchen upkeep and organization
Supporting smooth day-to-day household operations
Occasional childcare responsibilities (children ages 9 and 11)
