About The Position
Responsible for maintaining a clean work environment in assigned areas which may include, but not be limited to: patient rooms, terminals, offices, nurse's stations, lounges, hallways, bathrooms, kitchen areas, elevators, and lobby areas.
Requirements
- High School or GED Equivalent ; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must be able to work the hours specified.
- Visual acuity adequate to perform position duties.
- Ability to communicate effectively with others.
- Ability to hear, understand and distinguish speech and other sounds.

Responsibilities
- Maintains a clean/neat environment in working area. These areas may include, but not be limited to: patient rooms, terminals, offices, nurse's stations, lounges, hallways, bathrooms, kitchen areas, elevators, and lobby areas.
- Participates in all cleaning activities as assigned. These may include, but not be limited to: dusting, washing, drying, mopping, vacuuming, carpet extraction, furniture extraction, curtain replacement, moving furniture, trash receptacles and trash removal.
- Keeps assigned areas fully stocked, such as paper towels, toilet paper, linen, and other supplies essential for daily operations.
- Responsible for maintaining stock on individual cleaning carts, linen carts, supply carts, including wet and dry supplies.
