About The Position

The Environmental Services Housekeeper reports to the Director of Environment Services and/or designated supervisors. The EVS Housekeeper will ensure the cleanliness and sanitization of all applicable hospital departments. Primary duties include performing cleaning procedures in all assigned areas throughout the hospital in a clean, neat, and sanitary manner. Maintaining courteous and considerate relations with the medical staff, administrative staff, hospital patients, visitors, and other hospital employees. Completing special projects throughout the hospital as assigned. Maintaining cleanliness and neatness of equipment care and storage areas.

Requirements

  • Must have the ability to interpret and communicate/read/understand in English in written and verbal material to perform essential job functions
  • High school education or equivalent preferred
  • Prior housekeeping experience preferred
